2007 PRINCIPIA COLLEGE PANTHERS FOOTBALL (1-8 final record, 1-7 conference)

Principia looks to avoid a winless final season in the UMAC. Can the Panthers pull off an upset this year against TBC? And how bad must it feel to be underdogs against Trinity Bible College?

The UMAC is dropping football after this season. However, the SLIAC is adding football next year, and has invited Principia to join them. Trinity Bible's Lions will have to carry on as an independent team.

Sept. 8	Macalester College	62-0	Scots score 48 in the 1st half. They only scored 50 vs. Principia in 2006. Macalester is now 6-32 since 2002.
Sept. 15	at Univ. of Minnesota-Morris*	77-13	Principia flings 6 interceptions for the 2nd straight game. To watch or listen to this game, visit UMM's archive.
Sept. 22	at Blackburn College*	52-39	Beavers led 38-0, then gave up 20 points in the 4th quarter. There were 3 touchdowns in the final 2:35.
Sept. 29	at Maranatha Baptist Bible College*	20-14	Panthers put together 2 long drives in the 4th quarter, but both ended when they couldn't convert on 4th down.
Oct. 6	Rockford College*	68-6	Cal Webster catches 5 passes, and Danny Kleinhenz registers an amazing 22 tackles on an otherwise bleak day.
Oct. 13	Trinity Bible College*	28-20	Principia finally breaks their long losing streak with a win over the Lions.
Oct. 20	Westminster College*	38-13	That's 30 interceptions now in only 8 games. It took 14 games for George Blanda to reach 42 pickoffs in 1962.
Oct. 26	UMAC Dome Day vs. TBC!	47-20	Trinity destroys Principia in the final UMAC game for both teams. Be sure to visit the game's photo gallery.
